Our worship service is culturally diverse, casual and modern, grounded in God’s Word. Kids of all ages learn about Jesus in their own Sunday school classes. We even have a nursery! After our service, we always hang out and break some bread! Sundays at 11:00 am!
‘Impacting Jersey City and beyond by living and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ!’
We exist to reach the city by living and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. If you love Jesus, join our mission in bringing Him to all areas of our city!
As a part of the Evangelical Free Church of America, we hold to the EFCA Statement of Faith. In short, we believe God loves people. God transforms people through his son, Jesus. And God wants to use us to do this!
We’re excited to introduce you to Micah Spansel, the next senior pastor of Vroom Church!
This has been a beautiful process of prayer, conversation, and seeking God’s direction for the future of our church. Our Pastor Search Committee unanimously recommended Micah, our Church Board unanimously affirmed that recommendation, and this past Sunday our congregation unanimously voted to call Micah as our next pastor — 46–0.
We’re incredibly grateful for God’s faithfulness and for the unity He has given Vroom as we step into this next chapter.
We’re also excited to introduce and welcome Micah’s wife, Morgan, and their sons to Jersey City and to the Vroom family.
Welcome, Micah & Morgan! We can’t wait to see what God has in store for Vroom Street Church.
Please pray for us as we prepare for this transition, including helping Pastor Bill and Katie move and Micah and Morgan move in. The Spansels’ first Sunday with us will be November 29, with Micah and Pastor Bill overlapping throughout Advent.
